Mortar Smash: a free brick-smashing game
Mortar Smash is a free arcade game that runs in your browser on desktop and mobile, with no download or sign-up. Bounce the ball off your paddle to knock down each wall of bricks. Clear all 9 levels to win.
How to play
- Move the paddle: arrow keys or A/D, the mouse, or drag with a finger on touch screens.
- Launch and pause: Space or Enter, click, or tap.
- Lives: you start with 3, and lose one each time the ball falls past the paddle.
- Scoring: each brick you break scores more on higher levels, and clearing a wall earns a bonus. Darker, outlined bricks take two hits.
- Levels: each new wall has a different layout, a slightly faster ball and a narrower paddle. Your best score is saved in this browser.
