This policy explains what information mortarsmash.com (the "Site") handles. The short version: we do not ask for, collect or sell your personal information.
Who is responsible
Joshua Israel Ventures LLC owns and operates the Site and is the data controller for it. Contact: joshuaofisrael@gmail.com.
What we collect
- No accounts, forms or sign-ups. The Site has no registration, login, comments, newsletter or contact form.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking. The Site does not currently use analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking pixels, social media widgets or third-party cookies, and it does not load scripts or fonts from other companies.
- Game best score (stays on your device). The Mortar Smash game saves your best score in your browser's local storage under the name
ms_best, so it is remembered next time you play. It is never sent to us. You can remove it by clearing your browser's site data for mortarsmash.com. - Brick calculator. The numbers you enter are processed only in your browser and are not stored or sent anywhere.
- Hosting logs. The Site is hosted on GitHub Pages, run by GitHub, Inc. As with any website, GitHub's servers receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may log it for security and to operate the service. We do not have access to individual visitor logs. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
- Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply and keep a record of the conversation.
Cookies
The Site does not set cookies. The only browser storage it uses is the game best score described above.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share personal information. We would only disclose emails you send us if required by law.
Children
The Site is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under UK/EU GDPR or US state privacy laws) you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, which in practice is only any email you have sent us. Email joshuaofisrael@gmail.com to make a request.
Changes
If we add anything that collects data, such as analytics, ads or a contact form, we will update this policy first. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
